Dr. Grishby is a native West Indian and a first-generation scholar. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Agnes Scott College, majoring in Psychology, and minoring in Education. Dr. Grishby then earned her Doctor of Philosophy in School Psychology from Georgia State University. She has since begun a career serving families of individuals living with disabilities, both in the public and private sector. 

As the President and CEO of REACH A.K.G. Education Consultants, Dr. Grishby provides family support services to individuals from the Intellectual Disability (ID) and Development Disability (DD) population. She and her expert team increase independence, improve social skills, and inspire personal growth and development for individuals living with special needs.
